Pinkalicious Party!!

If any of you have a little girl, you most likely have this book. And if any of you know Aliyah, you know that she pretty much has it memorized. So, what kind of a birthday party does my soon to be 3 year old want? A pinkalicious party, of course. If you're not familiar with the book, it's about a little girl who eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink as a result of it. So to recreate it, I made the cupcakes from the book, and had a plethora of pink candies for everyone to enjoy. I decided to just do it on Sunday since everyone was at our house anyway. If I could only capture how happy and giddy she truly was in the pictures. While we set up the party, she was upstairs with her girl cousins letting them "Pink" her up. They managed to squeeze her in a 6-12 month size pink princess dress! And it was as if they prepped her on how to act at her party and pose for the pictures. She also demanded for us to sing to her 3 times! It was quite the party, and everyone left on a sugar high. She also opened her new obsession...Purplicious (as of this morning, already memorized)!! I just can't believe she is going to be 3!:(

We love this book!!! We make pink cupcakes, for no specific reason at least once a month. Yours look way yummier than mine do.

How sweet! She is just too cute. I have three girls that do not like pink at this point. But at her age, yes..

Nice job on the "humungas" cupcakes. She looks adorable. She even looks like the girl on the front of the book! I can hardly wait to read the books to her. Or, she could probably read the books to me! Love Mom
